Fishing Lure Product Endorsements
I have used Dave's Custom Saltwater fishing lures for about 2 years and they
are some of the best striper fishing lures I have ever used. These lures
are professionally made and designed to withstand a beating. Dave has been
prompt and courteous with my orders and i recommend him without hesitation.
For example, one day in late January 2005, Dave's Custom Saltwater lures caught the
"Jil Carrie" crew a trifecta of a 54 lb., a 55 lb., and a 56 lb. striped bass.
The 56 pounder measured an incredible 53 inches! These three "Beasts from the
east" were featured on the front page of
The Sportsman's Magazine in March 2005.

I have been using the Custom Saltwater Lures for over a year
now and I have been very pleased with the lures quality and dependability. The
paint on these lures holds up very well. David has designed a great lure that
not only catches the eye of the fisherman it also catches fish. I feel that the
Custom Saltwater Lures will keep catching fish because David is always out
trying to make a better product, as he calls it research and development, but
most people call it fishing. Custom Saltwater Lures are first class lures and so is the company that makes them. Cpt. Chandler Hogg

I've used a lot of striper lures and rigs, but I've
not found one that will stand up to the punishment of thirty to fifty stripers a
day like Dave's Custom Saltwater Lures. The eye's, paint, and hair stands up to
the abuse like no other striper fishing lure I've used. If you're fishing for
that trophy of a lifetime, don't settle for less than Custom Saltwater Lures, they work.

We have fished the Chesapeake Bay for stripers for over forty
years. One of our major complaints was that we could not find a striper lure
that would stand up to the rigors of day-to-day trolling. After a couple days of
use, the paint would chip, the ties would unravel, and the hooks would rust.
Most of today's striper lures are very pretty but are made to catch fisherman
instead of fish. Not so with Custom Saltwater Lures. Not only do they stand up
to abusive day-to-day use, they catch fish. Custom Saltwater lures have a hardened finish that won't chip, crack or fade and they are
hand wrapped. (We have yet to have a tie unravel.) We're converts. Try them
once and you will never use another brand of fishing lure - guaranteed!

When fish are feeding hard, they will
bite anything. When the going gets tough, watch the lure they start biting
first. The Custom Saltwater Striper Lures are the ones they start on every single time.

David and I have fished together for years, the Spider Webb
has been the testing ground for many of his striped bass lures. David's Custom
Saltwater lures are
the highest quality on the market. The finish, the hair, the eyes are
all unbeatable. When it comes to trolling for trophy rockfish on the
Spider Webb the only lure you'll find is the Terminator.
The proof is on the wall at Rose's Crab House in Kilmarnock, Va. A 58 pound
monster rockfish caught off of Va. Beach in Jan. 2005. Of course hanging along
with the fish is the CUSTOM SALTWATER LURE that brought him
to the boat.

I have fished all over the world, chasing anything and everything that swims
in bays and oceans, for the past 25 years. I have seen it all when it comes to rigs and lures.
I met David last year after a tournament in Va Beach, VA. David asked me if I
would be willing to look at some of his striper lures. I said
sure, so we went out to his truck, and David retrieved a lure and a HAMMER. In
amazement I watched David hit this lure about 10 times. (Not easy hits, but hard
blows with this hammer). After all that beating, David gave me the lure, and
asked if I could find any chips or missing paint. The lure was dented, but I
found no chips or missing paint. David then gave me several Custom Saltwater Lures to test here at Virginia Beach.
After the final count for the 2004-2005 season for my Charter Boat the Fin
Seeker. We had 5 citations over 50lbs, and 8 citations over 40lbs, all caught on
Custom Saltwater Lures. These lures are good looking, professionally tied, TOUGH,
and catch fish. BIG FISH!!!!
Being in the Charter Business, we are always looking for better products. I
finally have found that product. Custom Saltwater Lures are now my choice.

Gadget (AKA David) has been my full time mate for years now.
Having a mate with Gadget's knowledge and experience in running
the back of the boat always makes life easier on a captain.
His drive and enthusiasm when it comes to fishing is a thrill
to watch. He especially enjoys the rockfish shuffle. Ask him,
he'll tell ya what it means.
Several years ago, David brought some of his striped bass lures from another
boat he was working on to try on mine. They sure were pretty
lures, but I was skeptical because of the eyes he was using.
I said, are you trying to scare the fish with those things.
Gadget replied, if they don't work nothing lost, just run
the boat!! I just laughed at him, and pointed the boat towards
N.C./V.A. State Line. We fish 6 to 8 lines, and David rigged his
lures on two rigs on the way down. Once we settled down, the
lines where set out, and the game was on. Within 5 minutes
the port rod goes down, and what do I see is that funny
looking lure coming to the boat with a 35lb Rockfish on the
end of the hook. Minutes later the shot gun rod goes off,
and 200 feet back, and the angler moans and groans for 10
minutes, finally David reaches down behind the stern and
pulls over the transom a 43 LB fat striper with the other
lure in its mouth. David just looks up at me and just smiles.
We'll you can imagine what I'm thinking right about now.
The results have been constant since that day.
For the last three years, we have caught more 30, 40 and 50 lb fish on Gadget's
Custom Saltwater Striper Lures than any other lure out on the market. All we
fish now on the Renegade is David's Custom Saltwater Lures. Nothing else is on the boat!! These
striper fishing lures take the daily beating no other lure would withstand,
and the eyes he uses do make that difference from catching
and not catching. I would have never believed it that day
when David brought them aboard, if I hadn't seen it for myself.
