and give you some recognition for your rare catch. Catch a 50+ pound striper
and get free striper lures plus get your pictures posted here.
It is usually referred to as "A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CATCH". When a
catch of this magnitude does happen it should be celebrated to the fullest.
Of course there are all kinds of ways to celebrate this accomplishment, and
one trend that is gaining some attention is to retire the striper lure that caught
this this magnificent fish.
With all this in mind Custom Terminator Lures has decided to create a
section on this web site that highlights these accomplishments called
"The Fifty Pound Striper Club".
There is no cost to enter and you will actually receive a few quality striper fishing lures for
catching a prize winning trophy striper. All that we require is a quality
picture of you with your fantastic fish and a copy of the state
citation certificate that you received when you weighed in in your big
striper. Without a picture of the fish and copy of your citation receipt
your entry can not be processed.
With your entry you may also acknowledge others on your
trip such as the Captain, boat name, and crew. Provide this information and
we will post it on the website with your entry information.
In addition to posting your fish picture and other
information we will also customize two Terminator Striper Lures of your choice
for your next trophy striper and send them to you FREE of charge. Now
the original lure can be retired, and everyone wins!!
Come back often, as we look forward in making this a TREND to remember.

This fish was 59 lbs 12ozs. Out of the same school of fish we landed 6 from 40 to 48 lbs and released 11 fish over 44 inches. Will never have another day like that. And the funny thing, the fish were caught straight off Rudee Inlet.

Reedville Junior Angler wins big in the 3rd annual Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout. Emory Haynie age 14 from Reedville, VA while fishing on the Chesapeake Angler Magazine Boat. The crew of Chesapeake Angler in a 23 May-craft CC powered by Johnson made there way up north to the 4a buoy at the mouth of the Chesapeake bay. The Angler's slow trolled live eels on day one and day two. The first day in the area produce just two fish. The largest being 20.50 lbs. Second day in the same area the first bite came at 12:15pm but it was the big fish that every Angler dreams about 50.65lbs 49inches. It was just a 3 fish weekend for the crew, but I don't think you can write a better Cinderella story. The Chesapeake Angler magazine entry took home over $23,500 in cash and prizes. The Fishing tournament had over 145 boats and crews fishing it out of Virginia Beach, Va.

50+ Pound Striper Entries
We would like to welcome a new member to the 50 pound striper club. Say hello to our newest member, Michael Henderson and his 50 pound striper "Bubba". Read on for the fishing report that was sent along with the pictures.
REPORT: The three on the boat were Michael Henderson, Bill Brown and Richard Wheeler. They were trolling by 72A on the channels edge when two ships came along. Michael decided he'd better get out of their way and he went out of the deep water up on top of the ledge in 46 feet of water and that's where Bubba hit. There was a mess of crab pots all around so he at first thought he had snagged one of them, until it moved. He caught it on a white umbrella rig. It checked in at Rick's Marine at 52 inches, 50 lbs, 20 inch girth. He was pretty happy. Because we own the marina, we don't get to fish as often as we'd like. We kind of have to pick the worst weather days when no one else wants to go! He lucked out. Thanks to Christy
for the pictures and fishing report.

50+ Pound Striper Entries
Lance Cpl. Mathew Rose of Pasadena, MD., caught this beautiful 58-pound striped
bass in the Atlantic Ocean off Corolla on a custom striper lure from Custom Terminator Lures in January 2005. Fishing on board the Charter Boat Spider Webb, Captained by Carroll Webb from White Stone VA, the crew for the day trip down to Corolla Light N.C., consisted of Lance Cpl. Mathew Rose of Pasadena, Md, Jeff Rose, David Rose, and mate Carrie Allen. Lance Cpl. Rose says "it was a mule", I thought at first the reel was broken, as it pulled just about all the line off the reel, and I could hardly pull it in!. After all the chaos, and 20 minutes later the BIG MULE finally gets to the boat, with Carrie Allen on the leader, David Rose a veteran angler in his own right, steps in to assist with netting this Big Fish, after realizing the fish is to big for the net, David Rose had to reach over the stern of the boat and pulled the fish in by the gills. Way to go David!!! MY HERO!!
The Monster Mule hit a Chartreuse Parachute made by Custom Terminator Lures.

This beautiful fish has been mounted, with the striper rig still in its mouth, and is on
